My name is Shawn McGerr (she/her).
I am a suburban woman who got involved in local and state politics in 2016 when I was motivated to act.
I now volunteer my time to make sure like minded Minnesotan's are elected to public office.

I am a technical project manager who lives in St. Louis Park.
I do not have a background in politics.
I got involved in the Minnesota DFL in 2016 when I went to my precinct caucus and raised my hand to be a senate district delegate. Since then I've become more active in the DFL and progressive groups around the Twin Cities.
Currently, I am the Chair of Senate District 46 representing Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Medicine Lake, and parts of Golden Valley and Plymouth.
